Alabama State Lands


The current canoeing and kayaking trails can be accessed from several landings near Stockton, Alabama. Stockton is located in Baldwin County north of Interstate 65 on state highway 59 or 225. All four landing mentioned are located north of Stockton. Rice Creek and Upper Bryant’s landings are located on Baldwin County Road 21 which is located immediately north of Stockton off HWY 59. Hubbard’s Landing is located on Baldwin County Road 96 which intersects HWY 59 approximately 6 miles north of Stockton. The landing is reached by traveling west on Co. Rd. 96. The French’s Lake Coastal Access Kiosk is located within the Upper Delta Wildlife Management Area. Traveling north of Stockton on HWY 59, follow the signs to the Upper Delta Wildlife Management Area and then signs to the French’s Lake Coastal Access Kiosk.
