Advisory Board
- The Conservation Advisory Board, created by statute, is composed of 10 members appointed by the governor for alternating terms of six years, and three ex-officio members in the persons of the governor, the commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, and the director of the Alabama Cooperative Extension system.

Marine Police
- Alabama's Marine Police help guard Alabama's precious aquatic resources for today's ethical recreational and commercial use and for tomorrow's enjoyment.
Marine Resources
- The Marine Resources Division (MRD) is responsible for the management of Alabama’s marine fisheries resources through research and enforcement programs.
State Lands - The State Lands Division (SLD) manages undeveloped, state-owned trust lands that are specific as to their identity as well as to the income beneficiary.
State Parks
- The mission of the Division is to acquire and preserve natural areas; to develop, furnish, operate and maintain recreational facilities; and to extend the public’s knowledge of the state’s natural environment.
Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries
- The mission of the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division is to manage, protect, conserve, and enhance the wildlife and aquatic resources of Alabama for the sustainable benefit of the people of Alabama.
